How to use the address bar
above are all examples of what the Address Bar looks like.
You use this type in the website that you are going to visit. Like www.google.com , WVW school or mrsang.educatorpages.com.
How to highlight
1. Right click at the end of what you are trying to copy.
2. Hold down the right click and swipe the mouse over what you are wishing to copy.
3. Once it is highlighted then RIGHT CLICK on the highlighted item.
4. Choose COPY or (ctrl) + (c) keys.
5. Then take your copied item and (ctrl)+(v) keys the item to where you are putting it.
How to share a google document.
- Select the file you want to share.
- Click Share in the upper right corner.
- Name and save the document or skip this step.
- Under "Share with people and groups," enter the email address you want to share with.
- Click Share or Send.
How to insert a photo in your google document
- On your computer, open a document or presentation in Google Docs or Slides.
- Click Insert. Image.
- Choose where to get your image from. Upload from computer: Insert an image saved on your device. Search the web: Search the web for an image. ...
- Click Insert or Open.
How to see something shared with me -google classroom/drive-
On your classroom dashboard look for this symbol and click on it!
On the left side of the screen look for (SHARED WITH ME) and click on it!
Now you should see everything that has been shared to you.
How to make a website shortcut
Open your browser.
Look under the google search bar for a ( + ) symbol labeled as ADD SHORTCUT and click on it
List the name of the shortcut and then list the website address. Save it.
Now everytime you access the web the shortcut should be there to click on instead of typing out.
How to change your google background picture
Adding/changing the Google homepage background image
- Sign in to your Google Account in the top right corner of the Google homepage.
- Click Change background image at the bottom right corner of the Google homepage. Should look like a pencil.
- Choose where to select your background image (Public gallery, from your computer, your Picasa Web photos, your recent picks, no background)
- Once you've chosen your image, click Select at the bottom of the window. It may take a moment before your new Google homepage background appears.
